The Snowy Path

31Dec09

Here is another picture from yesterday’s walk around Loch Leven.  The skies were leaden and the wind cold.  Not surprisingly, there were very few fellow walkers, although one enterprising chap was skiing along the edge of the Loch.

There was something about the line of the fences in the snow and the horizon which suggested a reasonably harmonious picture.  Where is the figure (Jane!) walking to?  Is the weather about to break?

Another GX200 picture, treated in RPP and Aperture.  The black and white conversion (in SilverEfex Pro) has emphasised a grainy look, which I think works, but argument rages about it home!

A Happy New Year to all when it comes.

This is a glorious shot. I love the range of tones…the details in the sky! Nicely composed as well. If you post this kind of work, each day for a year…it will be amazing! Wonderful. And you will grow. Guarantee.

I too hope that my future images will improve on this! Thank you for your kind words and inspiration in your own blogs.
